Rubens Barbosa is a senior business adviser based in Sao Paulo, and a popular speaker and writer on global business and trade issues. He served as Brazil’s Ambassador in Washington and London. He has extensive international economic, trade and commercial experience.
Julie Chappell OBE served as Britain’s Ambassador to Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador and worked on the GREAT Britain Campaign, promoting British business, tourism and culture across the world. Julie has won a Woman of the Future award.
Peter Collecott CMG (Co-Chairman) was the British Ambassador to Brazil from 2004 to 2008. Since then he has advised multinationals, governments and NGOs on business, political and sustainable development issues.
Garvin Nicholas was High Commissioner to the Court of St James’s and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Denmark, Finland, Germany, Norway and Sweden for Trinidad and Tobago. In 2012 he was awarded Diplomat of the Year from the Americas by Diplomat Magazine. He subsequently served as a Senator and Attorney General of Trinidad and Tobago. He is now Head of Chambers at Odysseus Chambers, Attorneys at Law, Trinidad and Tobago.
Giles Paxman CMG LVO was UK Ambassador to Spain and Mexico. He also has had different European postings. He has extensive knowledge of negotiating European legislation and helping companies through complex EU processes.
Jorge Stok Capella led Argentina’s diplomatic missions in Frankfurt and Toronto, promoting Argentine economic and cultural interests with politicians, bankers, business leaders and cultural organisation.
